Visit During August and September!
August and September are perfect months to enjoy Heartland Lodge. With the cool weather we have been having our guests have been taking advantage of the outdoor activities around the lodge. The weather should only get better! If you are look for a romantic get away with that special someone, an ATV trail ride across some of the most scenic land in Illinois, shoot a round of sporting clays or an old fashion horseback ride, then you will want to reserve your stay during August or September. These months are perfect for those activities!
Don’t forget about the scenic hayride that stops at one of the most beautiful views of the Mississippi River Valley along with the evening bonfire. The cool weather will make both of these activities perfect to enjoy.
You can also just relax and sit outside your room with your favorite beverage on one of our decks and watch all the wildlife and world go by!
