As we start to wind down the 2008 season, we are very happy to say that it has been a terrific year!   You, the guests, are the reason for our success. Word of mouth recommendations and repeat stays were better than ever.   Heartland Lodge is fortunate to have many ‘Raving Fans’ promoting us to their friends, family and business associates.  Because of this loyalty, Heartland Lodge has developed into what it is today.  My goal is that 2009 exceeds what we’ve done this year!

As a way to thank you for promoting Heartland, I have decided to take money out of traditional advertising and invest in you. I have developed a Referral Program for 2009.  For each new person that you introduce to Heartland, you will receive a 10% credit (of their reservation) on your next stay!  The more referrals, the more discounts you will receive off your stay. It’s even possible just to tell one right person or company and your trip could be free!  You have already been doing this so now you’re going to get rewarded for it, and save you money on your next visit. I want to make this simple and easy for you.

Plan your 2009 vacation at Harpole’s Heartland Lodge.  Heartland is a perfect place to take that affordable vacation.  Enjoy the many activities and the scenic beauty the lodge has to offer. Ride a horse or an ATV through the scenic rolling hills of this area. Shoot a round of sporing clays on our fifteen station course. If you have not made your plans yet for Labor Day Weekend, then give us a call. We still have a few rooms available for this long weekend. Normally the weather is ideal to enjoy all the activities the lodge has to offer!

A favorite activity among many of our guests is renting one of our atv’s or bringing their own atv to enjoy on our miles of trails. We have atv riding trails for the beginner and advanced riders. Heartland is a perfect place to bring the entire family to enjoy riding.

 August and September are perfect months to enjoy Heartland Lodge. With the cool weather we have been having our guests have been taking advantage of the outdoor activities around the lodge. The weather should only get better! If you are look for a romantic get away with that special someone, an ATV trail ride across some of the most scenic land in Illinois, shoot a round of sporting clays or an old fashion horseback ride, then you will want to reserve your stay during August or September.  These months are perfect for those activities!

Don’t forget about the scenic hayride that stops at one of the most beautiful views of the Mississippi River Valley along with the evening bonfire. The cool weather will make both of these activities perfect to enjoy.

You can also just relax and sit outside your room with your favorite beverage on one of our decks and watch all the wildlife and world go by!

Heartland Lodge and Resort

Heartland Lodge surveyed the spring flooding along the Mississippi and Illinois River. The rivers have gone down and we are please to let everyone know that our land was not affected. All trails for bike riding, horse riding and ATV riding are open. All roads are also open when traveling to the lodge. We look forward to seeing you soon!

The weather will start cooling down and the end of August and first of September is one of the most popular times to visit the lodge. The cool evenings make the hayride and bonfire enjoyable! September is a popular month so please call us to make your reservations. We also recommend making your reservations for horseback riding, sporting clays and atv riding in advance when making your room reservations.
