Most of us have made it through the summer and are anxiously waiting for the coming of cooler fall weather and hunting season! 

Heartland Lodge is once again offering a Fall Upland Promotion from September 1st until October 15th!  Based on availability, you can get into some excellent upland wing-shooting.  I am offering two packages (Regular $575 & Premium $850) that will include the following:

Premium Upland Package:

 -         2 night 1 day PREMIUM Upland Hunt

-         Overnight accommodations with meals (Two nights)

-    A fully guided mixed bag upland hunt for pheasants & quail for one day (no limits- Premium hunt, more birds!)

-         2 boxes of quality American manufactured shot shells in 12 gauge or 20 gauge (other gauges available for an additional charge)

I am already looking forward to next season! We burned off most off our warm season grass fields in March and I will soon be planting our food plots in May.  The summer will be spent training dogs, working on the fields, and talking with my hunters.

The hunt will be Saturday January 9^th, 2010. You can also arrive January 8^th; enjoy the lodge and guests who also stay the night before.

You will hunt a half of a day for Quail, Pheasants, and Chukars. Your guides, dogs, bird processing and lunch after the hunt are all included. ($300)

This event raises money for a very special non-profit organization, Christian Family Days. The proceeds help support 3,000 disadvantaged children attend a Cardinal baseball game; enjoy a hotdog and soda at the ball park.
