Referral Program

As we start to wind down the 2008 season, we are very happy to say that it has been a terrific year!   You, the guests, are the reason for our success. Word of mouth recommendations and repeat stays were better than ever.   Heartland Lodge is fortunate to have many ‘Raving Fans’ promoting us to their friends, family and business associates.  Because of this loyalty, Heartland Lodge has developed into what it is today.  My goal is that 2009 exceeds what we’ve done this year!

As a way to thank you for promoting Heartland, I have decided to take money out of traditional advertising and invest in you. I have developed a Referral Program for 2009.  For each new person that you introduce to Heartland, you will receive a 10% credit (of their reservation) on your next stay!  The more referrals, the more discounts you will receive off your stay. It’s even possible just to tell one right person or company and your trip could be free!  You have already been doing this so now you’re going to get rewarded for it, and save you money on your next visit. I want to make this simple and easy for you.

 * When a new guest makes a reservation, please let us know you referred them or make sure the guest tells us.

 * Good for new guests that have never stayed with us before.

* Good for new reservations booked after November 7th, 2008.

A great way to start earning your credit is by purchasing a gift certificate for someone who has never visited the lodge.  It’s a great gift idea, and you will also start earning credit(s) for your next stay.

It is important to refresh your mind & body.  I am always amazed at how productive I am when I return from a relaxing trip.  Guests repeatedly tell us that after a stay at Heartland they are recharged and motivated!

Again, thank you for your loyalty and telling others about Heartland Lodge! I look forward to seeing you at the lodge next year!

Opening Week In Pike County Illinois

The weather couldn’t have been any better for the opening week of the Illinois archery season.  Here in camp we had a great start with a lot of familiar faces in camp and a couple new ones mixed in.  Our largest buck taken that week was a 134″ 9 point taken by Cliff Chavez for Tallahassee, FL.

Illinois’s Whitetail Deer Hunting Season

Man has the days been inching by or what?  One week before the archery season opens up here in Pike Co. Illinois.  I know I have had a lot of restless nights in anticipation for this upcoming season.  I imagine I am not the only one.  I am looking forward to having a full camp of deer hunters and hearing their stories around the buck pole.  Good luck to all who venture out into the woods this fall and stay in touch, I want to hear all of your hunting stories.
